Symbols across halls
Each symbol is three things: the image in the story, the part of a person it names, and the change it files in the body. Follow one across halls. Never explain the last thread.

Door
- Metaphor
- Entry, exit, a rectangular hole, a door that opens outward (you must step back).
- To the person
- The part that stands in a doorway arranging the room instead of going in or out.
- How it generates change
- Auctioning the door while living in the house = you can lose the old access and still be at home. A door that opens outward trains you to step back so something can arrive.
Eight Days- A blade sleeps in a floorboard and does not dream of doors.
- Warmth is a key. Honour is a key. Relief is a key. The door is already the door.
- A clipboard stands in a doorway for four years and never learns chemistry.
- A door is a door. Good. A door.
