Metaphor: You host patterns. You do not own them. The front door sold while you live there.
To the person: The part that thinks 'knowing my pattern' is the same as being free of it.
How it generates change: Ownership is not eviction. Insight is not a move-out notice. Sell what you hosted. See what returns on its own. Keep the rectangular hole if the wind is better.
