Metaphor: An unmarked plate. Water onto metal as a clock. A sphere holding one still drop.
To the person: The part that needs a floor number, a label, a trick, before it will ride the elevator.
How it generates change: The express car is behind an unmarked door you have walked past for years. Dripping on brass is enough clock. Physics, not a trick, holds the drop.
