Metaphor continuity · three chains · one thread never explained

Symbols across halls

Each symbol is three things: the image in the story, the part of a person it names, and the change it files in the body. Follow one across halls. Never explain the last thread.

Inland lighthouse

Metaphor
A lamp with no coast. A signal that still works. Reception without a confirmed ship.
To the person
The part that will not send until the other person is already waving from the water.
How it generates change
Send once. Be the lamp. The coast was never the point. A signal four hundred miles inland is still, in some ledger, a ship not wrecked.
