Wolf / treeline / Two Socks

Metaphor: The creature who decides the timing. Stillness brings it. Reaching pushes it back.
To the person: The part that hunts what it wants — love, trance, a career, a child — and then stands in an empty treeline smelling of need.
How it generates change: Available, not eager. Sit down. Look at the grass. Let the creature set the pace. This is machine six, and also Elkwater, and also 'her pace is her pace.'
