Fire / vessel / heat

Metaphor: Heat in the chest. A city lit by turbines. One loaf. A roof leaving a building. She is fire.
To the person: The part that either dumps the heat (extinguish) or dumps it on the kitchen (unrouted).
How it generates change: Nothing is extinguished. Only routed. Body, then heart, then head. Contained is not diminished. One loaf, perfect, instead of forty that taste like panic.

Eight Days

Fire asks for a vessel, not an apology.
Heat routed into the legs becomes a floor.
The four hours after the fast decision were the fire. This time there are no four hours.
Eyes open. Heat intact. Arranging on the floor with the snapped wood.
