Clock / day / Tuesday
- Metaphor
- A day that will not advance. Two hundred clocks that disagree. A clock that runs backward. The sixteenth as weather.
- To the person
- The part that will not live until the clocks match, and so is early to grief and late to joy.
- How it generates change
- Late is not wrong. A woman can be on time among disagreeing clocks. The day ends when the sequence ends, not when the alarm is outsmarted.
